I have numbness in my fingers- I need something that will help me open ziploc bags of cheese, etc. Has anyone tried them for this?

I cut my thumb halfway off is what I use them for. In using them, I would think it would help but don't hold me to it

how do I tell my size?

I have very small hands and fingers. 4 sizes come with the pack. None really felt comfortable for me. They were cheap enough that I never sent them back or used them. I recall seeing reviews indicating that they seem to run small. They were small but my hands are small (size 5).

Are the heat resistant? Like for hair wand?

No. They are cheap plastic. I’m sure they would melt.
