Pro Synthetic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 16’ Uncut Roll

I use in place of a brace on the knee and it works great. Very stretchy and has the strength to support and stabilize the knee. I like it comes in colors as well as neutral. It adheres well to the skin, so well that pulling it off can be quite painful and it can take some skin with it so leave it on til it starts peeling on its own unless you like pain.

Wrapped my knee the morning of setting out on a 10 day Kilimanjaro hike, I expected to have to re-wrap a couple times but to my great surprise it stayed down tight for the entire trip up and down the mountain. Genuinely amazed at the quality of this stuff, when they say 'Pro' I guess they mean it. Kept my knee feeling rock solid and had none of the knee pain I was worried about. I was skeptical about KT tape as a whole but consider me converted!

This is the tape you’d want if you’re using it for normal everyday. I bought this and a few other brands. This brand seems to stick the best without rolling over itself or working itself loose. It’s a bit more in the thicker side and slight stretchier. However, it withstood the shafting from my clothes for two straight days. Only downfall is also its best feature. The adhesive worked so well that when it comes to taking it off, you’ll find yourself pulling at your dermal hair or feel a bit of pain. It’s similar to the pain of hot waxing when peeling off. Aside from that, it’s easy to cut with a scissor and apply.

KT tape usually works as well as bulkier supports and brakes. The adhesive is non-irritating even after 3 day continuous wear. On the negative, active exposure to clothing and bedding tens to roll the edges. And, though prior continuous had 1" markings on the backing, facilitating quick fitting, my last roll did not - the reason for four instead of five stars.

Let me start by saying, we didn’t exactly buy KT Tape, Pro Synthetic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 16’ Uncut Roll for its intended use. Oh no. We bought it to help my very pregnant wife hold up her growing belly so she could still go on runs. Because when a pregnant woman is determined to get her cardio in, you don’t argue—you just find a way to make it happen. Enter KT Tape. Now, I’m no athletic trainer, but I have to give it to this tape: it’s a miracle worker. Imagine a tiny, colorful superhero with adhesive powers, swooping in to support my wife’s baby bump like a fitness-oriented maternity belt. We cut pieces, crisscrossed them like we were taping up a football player for the big game, and voilà! Belly lift achieved. My wife went from waddling to running (well, more like a determined speed-walk, but still!) in no time. The tape stayed in place, even when gravity had other plans. Not only did it give her bump some much-needed support, but it also held up through sweat, stretching, and several “Are we seriously doing this?” looks from neighbors as she jogged by. Does KT Tape advertise itself as pregnancy support gear? Nope. Did it work like a charm? Absolutely. So, if you’re a soon-to-be dad like me, just trying to keep up with a wife who refuses to slow down, grab yourself a roll. Your baby might not be able to walk yet, but your wife sure as heck will!

Great product and I highly recommend. I have very sensitive skin, so I used this product with Skin-Prep to help keep the tape on longer and to help reduce/eliminate skin reactions. Once I cut the tape and placed it on my legs, it lasted many days through a bunch of showers. Right now, it is winter, and I'm limited because of an injury, so I can't attest to effective it is when I'm more active and in a hot and humid environment. However, I wore it under a brace and pants for days, and it stayed intact and didn't unravel, so I think it would do great. I like the black color a lot too so that my blue jeans dye didn't make it look dirty and dingy in just a few hours of wear under them. It helped a ton with the swelling which helped my injuries heal quicker and with less pain.

The best tape… I like the uncut rolls best.

I’m not a huge fan of taping but my physio thought it would help my Achilles injury. KT was a good product. It stuck to my skin through the wear and tear (and sweat) of a hockey match. I played three matches over a weekend and taped separately each time with the same positive result. Tip! A hairdryer helps it to stick.

Sterk en soepel. Kleeft zeer goed, ook na avondje stappen ( eventueel zweten).

This is the only K Tape my skin doesn’t react to. It also has far superior stretch compared to other tapes, so you need less of it and it lasts longer.
