Bought this for my daughter as she requested, she is very happy with it.

So iv seen all over tictok my go to app if I want a review or need advice ect this bible I got gifted a help finder bible by a lovely lady in my church when I got saved in January it’s great lots of extra advice and things in it but the more am learning the more I wanted a csb bible so searched on tictok best bible to by and she reads truth came up I was sold lol there a bit pricey but iv not a single regret did I need a gold bible no I did not am extra ok I like some sparkle lol why not am going to be with it most of my free time if your on the fence just do it

A lot of thought went into this bible. I was so overwhelmed when shopping for a bible, I’m just getting back into my faith and really didn’t know where to begin. I wanted room to be able to take notes but I didn’t like how small text was in the normal “journaling” bibles. I also wanted something that would allow me to study a little more in depth — this does both. It has wide margins large enough for me to write what I need, the text itself is big enough to not strain my eyes. It also has timelines, reading plans, and tons of introductions and notes to better understand what you are reading. I will say the paper does seem a little on the thin side however I tested the “Mr. Pen” highlighters and they did not bleed through to the other side. It’s honestly everything I wanted in a bible while also being aesthetically pleasing. The weight of it is also nice for everyday use compared to other study bibles being almost 4lbs and over. Which is why I ultimately chose to keep this one. The only reason I was skeptical on rather I was going to keep it or not is because trying to choose a “correct” translation of bible is extremely difficult. At least for me being an over thinker. I added and removed at least 10 different bibles to my Amazon cart before landing on this one. The price point was also great, I did splurge a few extra dollars to get the indexed version which I absolutely love and would 100% recommend because putting the tabs on terrified me LOL. Ultimately, I decided the CSB translation is fine. I was worried it would alter the word too much but honestly the best bible for anybody is the one they can and will actually read. This is that for me. I tried to upload good quality pictures so others can accurately compare. I love the imitation leather, I feel it will hold up way longer than the cloth over board bibles which were the others I was comparing to, another reason that made me go with this one. So to sum it up I chose this one for the for the looks, and ended up keeping it for the depth and readability. I am so excited to jump back into my faith, this truly is a beautiful bible. ** edit ** I added pictures after I wrote in the Bible for the first time. You can see the pen from the other side (I write heavy) but the highlighter does not bleed through. I don’t have any other bible with notes to compare the paper quality to. I still love it as I will just use a notebook for more lengthy notes anyways.

This bible is a game-changer! It's beautiful and wonderfully crafted! I love a chunky bible and this is definitely it! It's so nice to hold and the soft cover allows it to sit so comfortably in my lap while I read it in my bed every morning. I have never wanted to read the bible more than when I got this one, and every time I see it on my nightstand it makes me want to pick it up and read it! The devotions are truly beautiful and have made me cry on more than one occasion, giving me a fresh perspective and renewed gratitude for what I'm reading. I also spent the extra money on the indexed (thumb tabs) version and definitely think it was worth it, much better than tabs that stick out and get bent, ripped, creased, etc. Whenever I write down what I'm grateful for, I write down that I'm grateful to have a bible as beautiful as this one! I also really appreciate the single-column page set-up and space for notes on the side - I might have preferred the space to be lined, but lineless allows me to write smaller so I can fit more on each page. The font and size of the text are large and super easy to read, even with my dyslexia, so it never feels like I'm straining to read or getting a headache. I also really appreciate all the book overviews, maps, infographics, charts, colour-coding, and information that this bible has as someone new to Christianity! I can see myself constantly coming back to this bible, even though I plan to get a study bible in the distant future, the She Reads Truth bible will continue to be my personal bible and the bible that helped me connect deeper with my faith!

Beautiful bible. Has lots of info at beginning of each book. Great info on the side of some of the pages. Has enough room to make your own notes.
