I bought these to help relieve back pressure and pain. I have used it for many back and side exercises and the foam has always maintained its thickness. Used it for around a month and it still remains nice and thick when rolling. Definitely recommend a yoga mat to roll on as it will slide on hardwood floors without it. With a yoga mat it works perfect. After rolling, the back and neck area feels really good and well stretched. Highly recommend if you have back issues and want a roller to stretch your back.

I have never used one of these foam rollers before and they are a real game-changer. My physical therapist recommended them to me. They crack your back and massage your muscles. I use this daily now and love it. However, I sat on mine a few times and, as you can see, it is now compressed in the middle and doesn’t work as well(I’m not extra heavy so just don’t do it). I think I will buy the firm version next time as this one has softened over time and I will NOT sit on the next one. I hope the next one will last longer with better care. I’ve only had this one about 2-3 months

Roller is hard, my first one so I was not sure what to expect, very Hard

This is my first roller. It’s very firm. I’ve now learned to be sure to check the diameter of rolls. This one is a little too large for me right now, so I’m ordering a smaller one. The 18” size is perfect to cover my entire back. I didn’t think it through: you have to support your body weight with arms and legs in order to “roll” your back and legs! Not as easy as it sounds. However, the benefits of using this are amazing!!! I used a spikey ball and then the roller after significant exertion (six hours of moderate yard work, three hours of rowing a kayak, etc) Very minimal soreness the next day...and I was expecting to not be able to walk! It’s not exactly comfortable to roll your tired/sore muscles over a hard surface, but it’s worth it. Trust me. I’m sold, a firm believer. I recommend this and the balls frequently now.

Perfect width. Fits in a suitcase for trip. A little softer material than would be amazing for me. Not soft but not as firm as I would normally use.
