This unit is uses an audio taper 100k Logarithmic pot. It is versatile and ideal for use in most scenarios including after your effects pedals, with professional audio equipment, and in front of the input or in the effects loop of most amplifiers, including valve amplifiers. Most amps sound better if you can drive the cascading preamp stage hard, but often the only way to do this is by playing loud. Using a VBM in your effects loop can unlock the true tone of your amplifier without needing to run it at full volume.
