How to add device on MagicHome App? Search "MagicHome" on , Google Play, or Scan the QR code on the User Manual and install it. After downloading the APP for the first timer ,there will be three options to request authorization. You need to register an account and pas to use the APP for the first time. Please open " MagicHome " on your smart phone, tap the “Add Device” or the “+” symbol at the upper right corner of the page and select “Socket”, please also make sure the smart plug has been connected with electricity at the same time. 1. The indicator of the KTMC smart plug should rapidly blink during connection with electricity, that means you can click “Confirm indicator rapidly blink” directly. 2. Choose your home Wi-Fi (make sure the Wi-Fi you choose is same as the Wi-Fi your phone connected and it’s 2.4Ghz instead of 5.0Ghz) and enter correct pas and confirm. Waiting for configuring successfully, the tap “Done”.Only the blink frequency of indicator doesn’t have any influence on connection. Please note when adding device 1.Make sure that the device is powered on. 2.Make sure that the device is under config mode. 3.Make sure that the device ,smart phone and router are close to each other. 4.Make sure the network function of router and smart phone are unblocked. 5.Make sure that the pas entered router is correct. 6.Make sure that the added device is under 2.4 WiFi channel. Enable the broadcast and not allow to allow to hide Wi-Fi. 7.Make sure that the router’s encryption method is WPA2-PSK and authentication type is AES,or both are set up as automation. 8.If router’s connected devices reach the a limit.Please try to turn off some devices WiFi function and configure again. 9.If router enables MAC address filter,please try to remove the device form MAC filter list and make sure that router allows device to be connected.
