Excellent budget 2 in 1 Tablet/laptop
The spec.s on Amazon were not clear when I bought:- The processor runs at 1.10Ghz - 2.4Ghz burst (not Mhz). It has 2 USB 3.0 ports, a type C port, a micro HD, micro SD, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3.5mm 12V charge port, and the 256Gb hard disk is solid state, around 25-30Gb is used by the system. See Chuwi's specs on their home page (chuwi.com). The charger is 3.5mm concentric 12V connector (not usb C) and works OK (doesn't disconnect). This is not an ultra fast processing tablet;it is a lower powered tablet for media type tasks with good keyboard and stylus included. I use it for note taking, emails, office tasks, web browsing and a bit of streaming (at which it excels). It recognises handwriting (just) but I get the impression its struggling to keep up, don't use voice recognition so cannot comment on that - I prefer to use the keyboard in any case. Cameras work (not used much). It comes with Windows 10 64 home. The setup is straight forward and took an hour or so to run (pretty much the same as any other Win 10 box). The battery life I get is around 5 hours, depending on how you use it - I ALWAYS have it in battery saver mode (which is ideal for the above tasks); anything else and the battery life becomes very variable. The power button is for turning it on from cold only - to shut down you use the windows key (or risk corrupting the system). I have had it hang on me once in a month- restarted a couple of times to fix it. Good points:- -Screen is bright, clear and very responsive to touch. -Stylus is really useful (and included with the keyboard) -Keyboard has positive feel, can touch type with it quite easily. Keyboard attaches really well (magnetic) and sticks over screen to protect it when not in use. - Boots in 10 seconds or so, returns from sleep in 1-2 seconds. -I love using it. Bad points:- - There is no manual to speak of and no online or built in user guide. -The keyboard touchpad is a disaster (continually taking focus away (doing random things) it responds to windows 10 touchpad gestures and has a habit of opening context screens and apparently random applications. Attempting to click buttons with it is difficult because the pointer moves as you press down. It can be disabled easily (Fn+F6 - toggle touch pad) - the screen and stylus work really well so I get by without the touchpad. -The power button; you have to press hard to get it to respond, and turning it off with the button causes the system to power down in an uncontrolled manner making the PC hard to restart. If you press it too hard it turns the PC on and off before you can respond. -It's heavy. The form factor is good, it has a quality feel (it's made of aluminium, the screen seems really solid) but the tablet alone, without keyboard and sylus, weighs 800gms. Which is as per the spec, but a little surprising. - Takes 2+ hours to recharge. -Keyboard is US standard not UK - Sound volume is very low, struggle to hear it if there is any background noise (to be expected for something this size?) - Kickstand seems insubstantial (but not bent yet). I have had it just under a month now, with no problems, and am very pleased with it. Which is just as well because Chuwi support doesn't look to be overwhelming (judging by their forum), am assuming Amazon can sort out any returns type issues (?). Battery Saver mode turns off icloud, mail syncing and some other clutter in the background (which is a benefit as far as I'm concerned), but otherwise all functions operate normally. I have not experienced the 'lack of power' some other users complain about - this not a fast machine, but for writing and browsing suits me! At present (one month in) am really pleased with my purchase. Two months in: Discovered it goes into sleep if you close the keyboard over the screen! - Excellent. Else nothing to add.

Great tablet and keyboard, but buy a mouse
Snappy day to day use, browses quickly, video playback is good. The screen is excellent and I personally really enjoy typing on the keyboard, in fact I'd say it's my favourite keyboard to type on to date and the pen works well for note taking and drawing. Battery life is OK at around 4-6hrs. Couple of downsides, though not deal breakers (hence the 4 stars). First, the keyboard might be great, but the trackpad is awful. It moves the cursor fine but it doesn't click or tap consistently and multi touch gestures are hit and miss. Thankfully the touch screen and pen work well, but I recommend buying a mouse. Secondly the handwriting recognition isn't great, not terrible but you wouldn't want to use it as your main text input option. All in all a great tablet for Web browsing and office/school work which can do occasional photo or video editing

A really solid reliable machine
I bought this to use form MS whiteboard when teaching via teams during lockdown - then to use as a personal laptop. The touch screen is more then good enough for teaching, making diagrams, annotating things. I suspect it would be good enough for anything short of proper digital art work. Nothing on it has run slowly even with teams in the background which would destroy my work machine (a lenovo thinkpad which is a few years old). The wide screen shape confuses a few websites but is no problem once you get used to it. The keyboard is good enough to type articles on (I easily re-edited a 5000 word piece the other day on it) and for online meetings it is perfect. A few quid on keyboard stickers is worth it for the three keys that are effected when switching from US to UK layout. I suspect it'd be perfect for watching things on long journeys but with a seven month old it'll be a while before I actually fine out. *help desk support* I had a problem on set up (windows registration) and the online support (some reviews have said was awful) took a few hours to respond via email which sorted the problem in seconds. Even emailed (a human written email with typos not a generic automatic response) a few days later after I had said it was fixed to check I hadn't encountered any further problems.

Not fit for purpose
When registering Windows for the first time I received an eye message stating that this version of Windows had already been registered by someone else. This device has poor responsiveness, to the point it's virtually unusable. Simple things like opening a web browser, dragging things across screen or scrolling, takes a few seconds to respond. In addition, the tracking pad occasionally doesn't sense the movement of your finger. Even though this device is cheap, it's still not worth the price.

A relatively average tablet that uses pc interface.
I brought this as a touch screen laptop as it had a stylus this seemed to be its intent, however it is not accurate enough for use in photo editing and for drawing I would honestly rather use a mouse. Due to this I had decided to simply use it as a sort of tablet that could download and PC files, so I have been using photoshop and bridge commonly as well as steam itch.io and web browsing. Witch for a time seemed fine, I could use it for simple work tasks like word and I could show people files that would commonly only be a PC file like psd or use it because I prefer to use a windows computer then a tablet for files. However after about 6 months of light use a rather large issue has become quite clear, the terrible memory of this makes it really bad for a laptop, since it's only way of extending it is a memory card for a phone and not a proper ssd or hard drive and its built in memory is also small. This is completely filled with light use, the files that are on this are work files so I would rather not delete them so I am left to choose, do I delete everything every 4-6 months and back them up externally or risk deleting work files. This is not a problem I have had with any other laptop. TLDR: dont use as a work laptop it fills up very quickly, plus the touch screen is not accurate enough for me.

Very impressive product
I bought this item as an emergency tablet to work from home during the pandemic and I have been very impressed. Reviews said that it was "ok" and that you had to be ok with no receiving any help from Chuwi, but my experience has been wonderful. I lost my pen and Chuwi direct was extremely helpful to help me get a new one since the UK seller had none in stock and I couldn't wait till one was shipped from China. I have been using the tablet for normal "office" things, word/excel/powerpoint/teams, I have also done live streaming and it all works perfectly. I have also done some drawing and the pen and sensitivity of the screen are amazing. The only thing I would say, is that you can only write on the screen wih a HiPen H3, so make sure you don't lose it, because other Chuwi pens will not work.

What's not to like?
I have to say I am really impressed with this tablet. I bought it to replace my Sony Vaio Tap 11 when the fan failed after 7 years and I could not be more impressed. After reading the reviews, which with everything on line were a mixed bag, I decided to go for it and have not regretted it. In fact I am typing this review from the machine. When considering that it is a tablet pc not a laptop I am impressed at the speed of the computer, I run some photography software on it (Lightroom CC and Affinity Photo) and find that I have no issues. The machine is quick to start and has plenty of space. There were comments that you had to hold the power on button for 5 seconds but personally I like this as it reduces the risk of it getting turned on accidently. I have not found any issues with the keyboard and it is as sturdy as the Sony keyboard. I've not really found any issues with it being an American keyboard either, on the rare occasion I need a key that is not on the hardware keyboard, I just use the software one. It's all about what you want and need really, the machine is perfect for what I want and appears to be more robust and durable than I expected. The battery lasts up to 5 hours for my personal usage and all in all I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great little tablet pc
Bought this for my 13 year old daughter's school work and very pleased with purchase. It's a versatile little machine with a fast processor. Trackpad is a little erratic but touchscreen and pen easily compensate for this. Handles office applications really well and daughter loves using it for streaming tv and movies. Volume a little quiet but can connect headphones/speakers via bluetooth. Haven't given 5 stars as battery life is not as good as what I'd like from a tablet. Otherwise it's a really good product.
