Excellent backpack with a few drawbacks but not deal breakers
Very nice backpack that has tons of organization and storage options. The site says it is around 22L but when i compare it to others that say they are 28 to 30 liters, this bag seems to hold as much or more. I love the laptop compartment because you can stick your laptop in as well as a bunch of files and folders. Then there is another compartment with decent space for more items. I use this bag for work so the 2 large compartments works out nice. Others might not like the 2 large compartments and might prefer 1 larger compartment and 1 compartment for just the laptop. The front organization panel is nice as well with really good organization options. Also the top quick access pocket is massive and has very soft material in there. My gripes are no water bottle pockets. The small side quick access pockets seem worthless to me and no chest strap. The chest strap isn't a deal breaker. Sometimes i like not having it so that there aren't a ton of dangling straps, but other times when I am wearing it with my puffer jacket which has a slippery shell, the straps seem to move a little. Overall since I am not hiking and just walking from my car to the office, this is not a deal breakers. Same thing with the lack of water bottle holders. I don't usually carry a water bottle so for now its not a huge deal. The main drawback for me on this bag is that the interior on the grey heathered bag is black fabric. This makes it extremely difficult to see inside the bag, especially the main organization pocket because that pocket does not open in a U shape it opens as one long slit across the front. Thankfully this pocket has tons of volume built in and the organization is laid out well so I can feel my way to the things I need. The other thing I would say is I am not sure how durable this bag will be. I am pretty sure they do not use YKK zips, they feel nice, but are not massive and sometimes get caught on the fabric around. Overall I have been using this bag for about a month and have had no issues yet, but I am concerned about the long term durability. Also the fabric seems nice, but again I do not think it will be that durable and I do not think the fabric is very water resistant.Overall this is a great bag that I have compared against about 10 other bags and this has won out for its organizational abilities and wearing comfort.

3 year review - Great
Probably the best backpack I've ever owned. Bought this bag for $65 in 2019, this is my third year of using the backpack. It held up amazingly - the material repels dirt really well. Still looks new. I'm considering buying a second one in case they stop making this model. The interior has really good materials, especially the sunglasses pocket with a faux-fur lining.I love backpacks with organization pockets. This one has a pocket of every size - from pencils and chapstick to kindles/notebooks. 10/10The only thing missing is a water bottle pocket. but i just hook my water bottle to one of the straps to solve the problem. The straps are not the most comfortable if you fill the bag to the max. With the normal weight of a laptop + textbook + daily items, its totally comfortable. If you need something that can carry 20+lbs daily, pick something like a North Face for comfort.

Almost perfect backpack!
I purchased both backpacks. I kept the gray one because it is slightly larger according to the tag and the material is softer versus the black. The photos on Amazon indicate that there is a third zipper pocket on the front but that is not accurate. Maybe an older model but not these. There are only two front zippers and the lower panel is just a fold, no zipper. The bags are identical on the inside as far as pockets and space. And my almost 16” Asus laptop fits perfectly in them. There is slightly more room in the gray bag for the laptop compartment. The shoulder straps and padding are nice snd thick. And the top handle is actually seat belt material. The gray backpack has a nice canvas type feel whereas the black version feels a bit plastic on the sides and cold to the touch. Both are great bags though! It looks like the increased cost of the gray bag may be due to the slightly larger size and perhaps more premium outer material.Highly recommend though!

Lots of storage and comfort
Great backpack and is a perfect size to carry a laptop, notebooks, and accessories. I can usually pack my jacket in there as well. The smaller size was better for my needs than the City Commuter which has an extra pocket and space for an outfit if needed. Both are great bags and the size is the only major difference.

Just about what i asked for, with a few set backs
I have been using a city backpack for 4 years until the zippers broke last month. It served me well most of the time but it had some build quality issues with the string and plastic attached to the zipper, some broke after a year but it's still usable since the strings are still intact.Well after the zippers itself broke, i have to look for an alternative. After some googling and tried some in stores, I still find the city backpack was my choice given the design and amount of the compartments. (I especially like the side pouches where i keep my keys and staff card. So, i bought this again, with another color. When I received the bag the first thing i notice is some design changes. The lower front compartment was gone and the interior material has changed. The straps seems reinforced a bit which seems nice but time will tell.Overall it's a great bag with this price tag i think i cannot find a better alternative a this moment. I hope it lasts at least 4 years like the old one.

Good backpack. Durable
Good backpack. Durable. Lot's of compartments to store everything. Comfortable to wear. I like how the backpack doesn't appear to be full when wearing it, nothing protrudes through the shell. Fits my MacBook Pro 15" perfectly, lot's of padding to ensure no damage to laptop.

Lots of space.
The backpack looks great and has a lot of small compartments to put your stuff into. The zippers feel good but they might get a bit stuck sometimes. It fits my macbook air 13 great and you can probably fit a 15-inch laptop. It can also fit up to the 12.9-inch ipad pro in the front pocket. The backpack is a bit darker than in the picture.

Go for it! Get one!
I’m in love of my backpack. Nice balance of pockets, is very light and stylish. I tend to carry lot of things and the padding help me with the weight. Is waterproof as well. I really recommend the backpack and the brand.

Love the look and colourIt is lasting very well with no scuffs or damage yet and fits everything i need well like a pencil case books food and even a pair of shoes in the back. But its quite expensiveOriginally I was going to get the compact version but changed my mind as it only costs a few pounds fore a bigger one that fits moreBut If i could go back i would get the compact as it is very large and people have asked me ”why do you have a suitcase on your back”
