Beautiful presented book with lovely notes that just wants you to explore the range of recipes. I had my own trusted Ragu recipe BUT he’s right I’d never go back after trying the recipe in this book. Love the veg, fish and meat recipes I’ve been in seventh heaven cooking these fabulous recipes. Already one of my fav cookbooks.

In conjunction with Tom's Lose Weight For Good, these have been game-changers for me. They are both full of delicious, healthy recipes that make healthier eating so much easier. These books to me tread that fine line between too simple diet recipe books, where a lot of the recipes can quickly become boring as they are not that imaginative or tasty. And those books with hard to source ingredients and recipes that require you to spend a long time prepping and cooking. I have not looked at the book's exercise bit as I am pretty OK with that already, but that part would be an added bonus if you need a bit of help on that front. Yes, some of the recipes take a little bit of effort, and you may need to search out the odd ingredient on the internet, depending on your local supermarket. But you can leave those to when you have a bit more time. And then once you have familiarised yourself with the herbs and spices area of your local supermarket, there are plenty of recipes you can do easily in the week. Plus, plenty can be made and then frozen if you want a quick meal later on. I can't emphasise enough how much these books have helped me become more healthy and shed some timber, with Tom's recipes quickly become staples of our weekly meals now.
