Works very well and collects the lint inside of water bath.
Bought this one to replace the one I had before. It lasted more than 15 years. Well worth getting when you have mild winners as in southern Texas and Louisiana. Fully compatible with my dryer and was easy to install. Overtime the material does warp a little. I never noticed any difference in drying time and easily sits on top of my dryer so the appearances not an issue.

Cheap, but works. You can make this.
I dont know why I thought this was some kind of filter contraption to lessen some of the heat. Its just a diverter that catches condensation. The room you have it in will still get warm. This will be great in the winter. lol. To be honest, you can MAKE this. Get a plastic shoebox from dollar tree and drill holes in the top as a vent, along with a hole for the duct tube. Thats pretty much it. This is very cheap, flimsy plastic, so honestly, a plastic shoebox from the dollar store is the same quality. I should have returned this and just did that. I didnt have a duct tho. If you have a duct, just make this!

Like it says on Amazon boxes: "This product is now made with less materials."
Minuses: it was shipped in the display box. A thin single walled non-corrugated cardboard box. The product was intact but the box looked like it had seen everything except water and it collapsed when I took the product out. The included hose is the least it can be and still qualify to be a hose. It's aluminum foil wrapped around a spring, with the foil being perhaps twice as thick as kitchen foil. The box itself is similarly constructed, pretty thin and the tabs that the lid uses to latch onto to hold it in place are likely to come off. You are supposed to put some water in this to catch the lint and you have to open it up to remove the lint so those tabs will see some action. Plus: The design is rather ingenious and there is an included deflector to make sure the incoming air hits the water. The reusable wire ties supplied to fasten the hose onto the box and dryer are high quality nylon. If the rest of the items had been of like quality it would have received 5 stars. I have to remember that it was $20. I have only tested it a little and it seems to work. If it breaks I will 3D print my own, it will be more durable.

I had one of these water filled indoor lint catching vents before and it worked great. I don't remember the brand of that one, but it worked great. Unfortunately, that is not the case with this one. It is very misshapen, so even getting the vented lid to fit correctly on the water filled part was almost impossible. I don't know how long ago it was made, or how it was stored, but the cheap plastic is so brittle that while trying to clamp the top on, the part the top snap thing goes around snapped off the base, and being so mishapen, the top will not even sit flat on the base. I had to duct tape the top on, which is difficult since the top is where the vents are, and the base is filled with water. This is a real hassle, considering that to attach it I had to move my washer so I could squeeze behind the dryer to install it. Making matters worse, the cheap, thin mylar duct hose it comes with only extends about 3 feet from where it attaches to the dryer vent outlet, meaning it has to be on the floor. But wait, it gets worse ! The Description says it comes with a "metallic transition duct and two clamps". Well I'm petty sure that mylar is not metallic other than a thin reflective coating. And, in my opinion, way too short, brittle, plastic zip ties that do not even stay "zipped" do not qualify as "clamps". I had to use more duct tape to secure the hose end to the dryer. In order that I may be able to put this thing in a more accessible spot that will avoid damaging my laundry room wall, avoid having to move my washer every time I do a load, and avoid having to be a contortionist to empty, clean, and refill the damn thing, I have ordered a longer, stronger duct hose, and two of the actual metal hose clamps that have been used successfully for decades to connect and secure dryer duct hoses all over the world. It's that, or else deal with wall damage and a rusty dryer. I will still have to deal with removing and reapplying duct tape every time I empty the lint water and put fresh water in, cuz funky water can grow nasty stuff I really don't want blowing around my house. Dust Buster!
This is the second time we've purchased this product. It's great for indoors where there is limited space.

Great Product.
Loved the product. The water bin is flimsy but does the job. Why vent the heat outside from the dryer when you could recycle it. When this lint trap vent is being used, it humidifies the dry air inside the house. Great for winter use- would not recommend that you use it in the summer as your A/C unit will have to work harder to get rid of the extra moisture in the air.

Passes, but not recommending
The hose is extremely short. It doesn’t even reach the top of my dryer. Plastic zip ties are provided to hold it in place, but I would have preferred metal rings. The picture shows little brackets that you’d attach to the wall for the basket, but those are not included. I should have just gone to my local hardware store for a longer piece of hose and clamps.‘probably would have been cheaper.
