I was incredibly lucky to catch this book in the free promo stage. Eldridge and Bustamante have done an outstanding job demystifying the process of beginning an online store and lay out in meticulous fashion the method to achieve the dream of online business success. The book is absolutely laden with practical examples of what to do and which companies to trust regarding all angles of an online store from sundry logo design to the all-important world of accountancy and tax filing. The book's chapter format and layout, along with accessible prose style, make it an easy-to-understand-and-apply read. The authors have also taken the time to embed links to the sites suggested for use regarding all facets of business creation so it's incredibly easy to go to and see exactly what they are talking about in any given section. From the importance of to-do lists, to website design, to Keywords and SEOs, to Professor Von Puppet (you'll have to read the book for that reference!), the book should serve as the rock-solid foundation on which any person can build and succeed in online business.

Wow! I can't believe I was lucky enough to spot this book when they had a free promo. The information is worth what I have seen on other sites for $50 or more. It truly takes a rookie, newbie approach and holds your hand from start to finish. The authors did a fantastic job in walking you through and holding your hand in an engaging, easy-to-understand way. I hope this comes out as a paperback since I do not have a Kindle and had to read it only on my Kindle Cloud Reader. Thank you for a valuable book, aside from a couple of minor typos (which I only notice since I am also a writer and editor)... this book blows it out of the water compared to other books that are scattered and ramble on without telling you the fundamental things you need to know. I liked the fact they were not shy about telling you the actual providers they use, so that anyone can find the best places to open a store. I've been wanting to open a store for a while and they talk about everything from choosing a niche to affiliate marketing, blogging, and everything in between. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Important and vital topics covered include setting goals and priorities, deciding on a name, accounting, site design, online payments, customer service, legal formalities, driving traffic, partnering, trade shows, and so much more. This book is a valuable tool to have when starting an online store and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to venture into this exciting and profitable world.

This by far was the BEST book I have ever read in regards to starting an online business. No fluff and no b.s. - the author gets straight to the point with each topic. The book goes through each topic imaginable too. From the very beginning of the thought process of starting an online business all the way to the very end when it is time to push the launch button, and EVERYTHING in between. I was absolutely impressed with how thorough each topic is discussed with a non-biased tone. Occasionally he throws in his opinion but honestly, his opinions are right because I tried them, as well as tried the opposite of them, and his techniques worked best. This is my reference book as well. I read it in two days (I couldn't put it down) but I refer to it all the time. Highly recommend this to all newbies! Thanks to the author for such an amazing book and for sharing your tips, secrets, & knowledge! I learned so much!

I have read a lot of books on this particular topic and I can honestly say this has to be one the best books out there for getting started. The authors did a great job putting this book together and I would highly recommend this book to anyone starting an online business. Also, there are detailed examples and explanations on how to set everything up from beginning to end. The authors really take a deep dive into the tools they use when creating an online store, which is invaluable when you are a beginner. Simply stated, this is a great book and quick read!

I am a 50+ mother of three and grandmother of five. I have been contemplating for years to start my own on-line business but never knew where or how to start and felt the process to be so overwhelming (and potentially expensive) that I never pursued it. To say that I am thrilled to have found this book is a serious understatement. The book is easy to read, comprehend and gives you all the necessary advice, tools and actual links that you need to start your own on-line business. NO MORE EXCUSES!!!! It's a good book with some good information. I went away with several ideas after reading it. However, the writing can be quite sloppy and the book would have benefitted from some significant editing.
