You might ask the seller Good luck **Q: How do you get the blade in place?** A: Hi, I find it easiest to lay the blade holder flat on a tabletop and remove the metal screw/nut piece by hand. At this point, the black plastic guard will come apart and the blade can be placed into it. The blade should fit snugly into the plastic guard (lining up the end slots and middle slot of the guard with the blade) before you hand-tighten the metal screw/nut back into place. A nice feature here is that the metal screw/nut can just be hand-tightened and loosened. The "not-so-nice" feature of this holder is that the safety cap falls off too easily.
