Eagle Fake Hawks in Backyard
Great Decoy Statues for my picnic tables in the backyard.

Has worked very well to deter some pesty birds.
We like it though squirrels were able to quickly identify it was a decorative fixture vs. a threat. (It was easy to fill with sand and move it around the yard. Alas, we have smart vermin.) But, the husband took it out of the newly landscaped backyard (which the squirrels routinely tear up) and strapped it onto a large tree that was overly infested by birds, including a family of pigeons, in the front yard. So far, it's been great and no birds, not even the persistent pigeons, are roosting in the tree. Best of all, we haven't had to clean up after the pigeons daily and we don't have them "oogling" at 5 AM, awakening the entire household.

Birds avoid area.
Move hawk placement every 2 or 3 days or else birds will ignore it and purpose is gone.

ATTRACTED MORE BIRDS
Awful. After reading all the positive/negative reviews on this I decided (foolishly) to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE. I perched it up high on a shed for an hour to see if it would keep birds off my patio. This thing seemed like it actually attracted MORE birds. Many flew close to it with absolutely no regard for it, and 1 landed 2 feet away and just hung out. Not a care in the world. Sending this back

Hawk decoy
It worked ok some birds would not land but others would so I painted it to look like a local raptor the Red tailed hawk ! Now the birds won’t come near My pool .

Fake decoy
This is not a bad review, it is as decided and looks good maybe the best, The truth is it will not work at all for keeping birds out of my blueberry bushes, I put it in the blueberry bush, I put it on the grown beside the bush, I put on a post just over the bush the birds land on top of this decoy before going into the blueberry bush. Buy this for looks only, it will NOT repel birds at all.
