Big hit with my 3 year old daughter. The horses all stand up on their own. She loved being able to name all the horses and write their names above the stalls. I love how it’s compact and easy to store. Perfect for pretend play.

This was the most played with Christmas gift. It is high quality- the stable and horses- and came packaged well. It includes blank stickers to label the stalls, with extras. The horses are beautiful and detailed. I purchased it half off, which is a fair price. I wouldn’t pay full price.

Our little one’s favorite gift from Christmas! Our 5 yr old and 14 month old both play with this. Well made just like the Melissa and Doug toys we’ve all come to love. Our oldest enjoyed naming each horse and labeling their stalls! Sturdy handle for toting around. Doors close at a stretch band hinge not metal.. so much safer with little fingers. Would recommend this over and over!

My daughter got this for Christmas and she loves it! She enjoys playing with the horses separately and putting them back in the stable.

This is an adorable little stable that was purchased for a horse-obsessed child, and overall it’s a sweet idea that’s fairly well executed. The stable itself is nicely made. It has smooth wood, no splinters, and no sanding needed. The doors open and close properly, which is a great touch. It has virtually no set up. Just some stickers that frankly don't have great adhesive. The horses are sturdy and decently made, and they are supposed to represent different breeds. However, all of the horses share the exact same body shape and only differ by coat color. Because of this, it’s difficult to tell which horse is meant to represent which breed. That lack of variation and the stickers are the only reason for the four-star rating. For children who are especially interested in horses, or neurodivergent children who appreciate clear distinctions and details, this could be disappointing. The product description mentioned a booklet, but it was either missing or discarded before we found it. Overall, it’s a charming set with good construction, but more accurate breed differentiation would have made it truly stand out.

My kids love this toy! It’s definitely one of their favorites. The horses are well made and come in so many beautiful colors. Highly recommend if your child is into horses. Great for both boys and girls.

How my kiddo plays with them: My two-year-old loves his horses! He likes to take them in and put them back in, organize and face all the horses the same way. He will line up the horses on top of the barn. He likes to pretend that they are running, whinnying, and rearing up. The stable: The stable itself is nice as a carrying case, and the latch has not failed. The two end stalls are a bit narrower at the opening, but still workable and can help to teach a child some patience when putting the horse into those spots. The door hinges are held by string, meaning no hardware to break or crack the wood if there is a mishap. Also, if something were to happen, you could easily fix the hinge yourself. The doors are strong and have held up fine so far. The barn is nicely pained and detailed in classic barn red. The horses: The horses all have different markings and are "different breeds," but do not actually reflect any particular breed difference (aside from the paint and appaloosa markings) structurally, as they are all the same mould shape. I was a little bit disappointed by that, so they aren't like a Breyer with the detail quality. They are sturdy though, and feel like a tough rubber/plastic material. Each stall has a spot for a name sticker, and stickers are provided, along with a little info on each breed included in the set. Overall: This show horse stable has been a large success in our home. It's right up there with the cars and trucks as to how much my toddler plays with it. It is super cute and nicely made. It looks like Breyer stable mates would fit if you want to expand the horse collection. I think another reviewer mentioned that they fit. Very impressive set. I was expecting plastic cheap horses, but they are solid and heavy. The barn it real wood, it comes with stickers to name the horses. I like that you can lock the barn door and use the handle to carry it around.

My granddaughter opened the package and was overwhelmed with delight. She's a two year old obsessed with horses and loves playing with the stables and opening and shutting the gate. Marvellous toy for her.
