Quality product, quality brand
Great little tinwhistle. Now if only I could play it lol. Fortunately it comes with a fingering chart and a few little practice ditties. That being said, most irish tunes are in key of D. Just a heads up.

Better than the price you pay.
Considering what woodwinds can get to, for the quality, this is a steal. Got what resembled a hollow horseshoe initially. Once I realized whistles shouldn't bend that much, or indeed, at all, I set up the return. What then came is what I would expect, a smoothly toned instrument. Get one. Maybe we'll duet.

Whistle is a little more breathy than I'd hoped, it's a bit more difficult to finger than the Clarke D whistle, and the higher register is shrill. Having both of them is nice, and I look forward to learning on them.

I Love Clarke Sweetone Irish Whistles... This One, However, Not So Much
I have several Clark Sweetone Irish Whistles In my collection that sound really good... this one... not so good. Also, the seam on the tube is VERY sharp. I'm returning this one to Amazon.

I have several brass straight-bore whistles, including Dixon, Feadog, and a Killarney, and they're all great and have a pure tone. The Clarke Sweetone, being a tin conical bore whistle, sounds quite different and has a complex, almost raspy tone which I find very appealing and is a great point of difference to my other whistles. I like it very much.

Robust whistle that plays nicely.

Un pennywhistle facilmente trasportabile, leggero e cosa più importante considerato il prezzo, ben intonato. Perde un pò sui toni più alti, ma nel complesso lo consiglierei a chiunque voglia avere un primo approccio con questo tipo di strumento. Da chitarrista che non ha mai suonato uno strumento a fiato, ho fatto veramente pochissima fatica per imparare a usarlo in modo accettabile, quindi ritengo che sia estremamente semplice da imparare a suonare per chiunque abbia un minimo di dimestichezza con la musica in generale.
