In this humorous twist on a visit to the zoo, find out who has the more interesting view! As morning dawns, the zookeeper makes his rounds, exhorting animals to wake up, comb their hair, and stand up straight. When human visitors arrive, the observations begin to flow: "My, what silly things they do, all these creatures at the zoo. Walking on all kinds of feet, dancing to an inner beat. Babies riding on their backs, on their bellies, snug in sacks. Hear the silly sounds they speak, as they howl and squawk and shriek!" But just who is talking about whom? With a clever twist and a new, sturdy board book format, this book will have even the youngest children begging for a trip to the zoo. Review: GRrrreat BOOK - a bedtime must-read - My daughter asks us to read this book every night - she absolutely LOVES it. We look at the antics from the line on each page and we talk about the animals and the people. I thought it was extremely CLEVER of the author to have it tell the story this way because the book reads from both the people's view point as well as the animals which shows there is ALWAYS more than one way to understand a story. Love love love. Such a fun book for me to be able to read to her. And also, remember to play "find the monkey" - we always try to spot the monkey wearing the cap first on each page. GREAT book all around and so thankful it was part of our desertcart box. (Remember if you don't want one included you can always review and swap out what books you do want which is so useful as well.) Review: Fun Story - A great book. The story is fun and the pictures are awesome. I bought this book after we went to the zoo and saw pelicans (they are in the book!).

Kiddos Approved
Such a cute book. Kids love reading this book - over and over! There are some books I just loathe reading for the 100th time in one day. This book is one that I don't mind reading.. Tons of bright and interesting pictures to talk about.

Graphics are great...story is strange
I love the graphics and so does my son who is currently zoo obsessed, but the story is weird since it applies to the pedestrians at the zoo and not the animals. My son has no clue really what it's talking about, but we love to look at the pictures and talk about what each animal is doing on each page.

Great book.. Highly recommend
My toddler loves animals.. So this book was a big hit! If you have ever taken your little one to the zoo or intend to, this is a perfect book to read afterwards! The illustrations are so bright and fun, the rhythm of the story flows so nicely that my toddler is able to read along and say the rhyming words, and it is just a cute book that introduces some really cool animals. It's Short enough to keep the attention of young ones but long enough to tell a good story and teach along the way. Highly recommend! We read it every night before bed.
