very hard to see this at the local stores. ordered a case and request Amazon a box for the case and cookie came undamaged. the best by date is April 2026. very tasty and crispy. haven't had this for a longest time. good to give away to family and friends. will order again in the future

Overcooked, broken cookies, no flavor. Company indicates they have using family recipes for over 40 years. I have been making them myself for over 50 years and they got it totally wrong. They may look like pizzelles, but they don’t taste like them and I purchased the anise flavor. They are overcooked making them taste burnt and bitter, they should be a pale yellow. As for the anise flavoring , where is it?? It almost tastes mostly like vanilla with a hint of anise when that should be the predominant flavor. My packages of cookies tasted fresh as there were 4 sealed packages of cookies in each container but there were so many broken cookies. Was this poor packaging, poor handling and delivery by Amazon?? It would seem to be a little bit of both. Would I pay this much for these cookies again? No way!! I have a grill, the recipe, and technique…. I needed these in a pinch and my guests knew they weren’t mine and were completely disappointed as was I. I suggest you go back to square one and try again!!

Delicious! Very light and fresh. Four separately packed portions remain fresh in the air tight container. Very thin, light, crispy wafers - much better than the brand I used to buy.

I have 3 Pizzelle makers and try different flavors. Typically, it's Anisette (Anise) vanilla and sometimes lemon. The texture, crunchy enough without being brittle was perfect!

These are delicate cookies/wafers and must be shipped as fragile. Mine came in a cardboard Amazon box so that helped immensely (only 2 broken cookies out of 32). The best thing about these maple flavored ones was the taste-excellent and freshness! I love pizzelles but the anise was more expensive. I also ordered the gingerbread flavor, so we'll see how those do for taste and transport. Definitely will order more of these! Update: The gingerbread flavor I ordered, while tasting good, came with much more breakage even though packed well in the Amazon box. I think they were broken before they were shipped. 16 of 32 (half) were broken, rather disappointing especially if you wanted them for a holiday event. So took off a star. Update: Ordered anise flavor which tasted great like all the others HOWEVER, MOST WERE CRUSHED (came in a sturdy box, so sent destroyed). OK if you wanted cookie crumbs, but not worth the price crushed. Reordered the maple, came in a brown envelope so yes CRUSHED! I love pizzelles but this company doesn't seem to care if their product is destroyed. Too bad. Don't recommend at these high prices.
