Kurt Adler UL1219/NAT 10 Light Indoor Rattan Natural Star Treetop

I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect star to complete my Rustic Woodland tree, and this one was exactly what I hoped for. The star is made of rattan, a natural material that gives it a simple, handcrafted look... almost as if a bird had woven it together. I had to put my little Red Cardinal ornament up by it. ;) It arrived well-packaged, and while the green plastic base is pretty useless (as I expected from reading other reviews), I found a creative solution: I used a strong brown hair claw to secure it to the top branch of my 6'5" Red Spruce Slim tree, and it worked perfectly. The star itself is beautiful and just the right size for my tree. I did have to adjust the placement of the lights inside, and I wish there were a few more lights in the center to make it glow more evenly. Still, the overall effect is natural, understated, and perfectly in line with the rustic woodland look I was going for. I’m very happy with this star and would recommend it to anyone looking for a topper with a warm, organic charm.

This “vine” star looks great on the tree! Just the right amount of lights on it; wry natural looking which is what I wanted. Simple but very nice…kind of a rustic look! Exactly what was described. I love it!

Absolutely love this tree topper! It is the PERFECT edition to my simplistic and rustic look I was looking for this year. The quality of the material is durable, the lights have not had a single issue, and it is easy to install. Very, very satisfied!

UPDATE: Received a new Star, centered, and no smell. Looks great, but as others have mentioned, the green holder is useless. I was able to use the clip from our previous star that broke and it worked out great. Will update when replaced. Smelled very foul upon opening. The plastic holder/stick going through the middle is off center, which makes the entire star off center. Going to order a new one, we will see if it’s any better. If it smells the same, I’ll return it still, that’s how bad it was. Love the overall look of the Star. It was exactly what I wanted. Bummed

Most beautiful woodland star I have seen. Looks so realistic. Worth every penny.

I bought this star in 2023 and it’s pretty and we love the way it looks but we just had to change two blown bulbs. It is like the old school lights where if a bulb blows the whole thing doesn’t work. It also does not attach to the tree that well and falls off easily which isn’t so fun with two toddlers.
