I am rating this toothbrush five stars, because its effectiveness, frankly, surprised me. I had read about this brush as being some kind of "flossing" toothbrush, and how it was the best toothbrush people had ever used, etc. I had been having some experience lately with my gums bleeding a bit after I brushed my teeth. I figured it was time to try a different- and softer- toothbrush. But I wasn't expecting much.And when it arrived, the brush didn't look like anything super special. When I used it the first time I thought- eh-- not bad. It wasn't life-changing. It was nice and soft, and my mouth felt clean after I used it- that was noticeable.After a day or so of using it, I noticed that I was both brushing my teeth more often, and for a longer time, with this new toothbrush. Its softness was gentler on my teeth and gums, and there was a reduction in the minor amount of blood after brushing. After I had been using it after two days, I realized my mouth and teeth were feeling very, very clean. Not like I had just come from a professional tooth cleaning or anything, but markedly cleaner than my old brush had been getting them.And here, I have a confession to make- I don't floss. I hate flossing. I *know* that's bad, and I should floss, and I have some floss around here someplace. I am just really bad at it, and I don't do it. I am not going to make the claim that this toothbrush "replaces" flossing, or has the exact same kind of effect that floss has on teeth. But I can say, with confidence, that this toothbrush leaves my teeth and gums much cleaner than any other toothbrush I have used. (I have always used regular "manual" toothbrushes and some battery-operated ones, but nothing super high end.)So this toothbrush, to me, definitely deserves five stars. It does get my teeth nice and clean, leaves my mouth feeling fresher, its softness encourages more and longer brushing, and it was super inexpensive. I actually look forward to brushing my teeth now, whereas before it was an obligation of "oh yeah- better brush my teeth." But now, brushing is something I like doing much more than I used to. It's just more pleasant to do.I just checked in a magnifying mirror, and my teeth definitely look like they are getting cleaner since I have been using this brush. They don't look like "brand new" teeth or anything, but they definitely do look cleaner.I'm very pleased with this new toothbrush. It has converted me from being a skeptic to stating that this really is a good product. I'm very glad I tried it, and I definitely recommend it.

I found this brush through Dr. Ellie’s Complete Mouth Care System.There was definitely an adjustment period. The bristles felt firmer than I was used to, but a lighter touch helped. The dense, tapered bristles feel quite different from most toothbrushes and seem to do a great job along the gumline and between teeth.My teeth feel just as clean as they do with an electric toothbrush. After years of electric brushes, it’s refreshing to use something with no charging, batteries, or settings that simply does its job well.

Excellent brush but a little too firm. Best for plaque.

I thought I'd give these a try after reading reviews. The first thing you'll notice is that the bristles are kind of yellowish brown. I had to look at it for several seconds and repeat in my mind, "This is a brand-new unused toothbrush." That being said, I was very impressed with it. The bristles are long and they feel like they are really getting my teeth clean. I can't speak to the flossing aspect because my teeth are jammed together. It's really hard to get real floss between my teeth. The first time I tried it was right before bedtime. I laid there for quite awhile running my tongue over my teeth and was amazed how clean they felt.I would like to try their toothpaste, but I have several tubes of toothpaste right now that I need to get used.

Great toothbrushes I kind of have sensitive gums so these are really nice and soft and do the trick as far as cleaning my teeth

I work in the dental field and I’m obsessed with the Dr. Plotka’s toothbrushes. The flossing bristles help my gums feel healthier and cleaner. I also feel like these bristles last a lot longer than other toothbrushes. I buy the kids one for my daughter which I definitely recommend as well. Especially for those kids that battle flossing!

After a year of using this brush and not using floss, I had a great dental visit with virtually no tartar and no gum inflammation. First visit that I have not needed a deep cleaning. I tested it out for a few days at first, flossing after using the brush and there was no plaque on the floss.

I use Dr Ellie Phillips Complete Mouthcare System and this toothbrush is recommended. It's amazing for toothbrushing AND massaging the gums.

Value for money? for a toothbrush I do think it is expensive but I am tight and I cannot source this on the high street. I have had no issues with it, it very firm and cleans and flosses very well but do not press hard, be careful around the gum line as like I said it is firm and stays firm, it does not soften.

The best toothbrush I’ve ever owned. I have perfect teeth Dentist said. They used to sell this toothbrush at the health food stores in Australia but they don’t anymore so I buy online overseas. There’s nothing the same. They’re either too soft and don’t work the same. The bristles are an off white colour because they’re antibacterial cleaned. I hope they never stop selling this brush. I buy one every 3 months.

I really like this toothbrush, but I wish it cost less than 10€

Love this toothbrush. Very efficient and feels great as it gets in between the teeth. Well worth the money. My holy grail for toothbrushes!
